I haven't had dizziness for a LONG TIME but am susceptible to motion sickness on amusement park rides etc. I am cross training with some swimming, and wanted to do the back stroke for variety, which I seldom ever do. I was doing a total of 20 1/2 olympic length laps (10 olympic laps) and did 1 1/2 laps with the backstroke. By the end of the 1 1/2 laps of backstroke, I became dizzy and needed to lie down. The dizziness lasted for several hours and the next day (today) I have mild dizziness (but was able to climb a ladder to install a ceiling fan).
Anyone else with similar problem, and what did you do for it? I assume if I go back and try it again it might not be as bad and gradually would wear off. Thanks for any advice.
