Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I found myself a vista coronet bicycle but am have zero luck finding anything out about it. If anyone out there knows anything I would appreciate any info. Thanks
Post some close up pictures, it sounds like a department store bike.

If you use the Search function, limiting your search to the C&V forum and search "titles only", you should bring up some information on the background of this bike brand.
My own recollection of Vista is that they were a direct competitor of Schwinn targeting the lower end of the Schwinn line-up. Their headbadge was designed to look exactly like the older Schwinn badge. I'm not sure if they were sold by department stores but I know they were found in some LBSs. The bikes I saw were heavy, Ashtabula crank models that would compete with a Varsity. They also made upright handlebar models. The search indicates they made a few mid-level models, but I've not seen much activity with that brand so they must not have produced many of their better bikes.
