Currently 78 riders are less than 30 minutes from the lead for overall General Classification.......
But, there is a significant bump in the race course tomorrow. Several actually -----
How many riders will remain within 30 minutes of the lead for overall General Classification, you know, the "Yellow Jersey"......
I'll say ~50 riders will be within 30 minutes of the leader after Stage 12.

I don't think you'll see that many drop off that far with both climbs coming at the end. It seems that time losses will be minimized because of that. I think that Saturday will be the day that really blows the race apart. Much more climbing along the way.

Yeah Saturdays the big day. The only way 12 is going to be "big" is if one of the big four really attack. Or if Mayo decides he wants to make up the 5+ he's allready lost and LA and co. have to chase him down.
Probably around 40, I'd say. I think that someone will attack tomorrow on la Mongie.
My bet is Tyler Hamilton.

I predict total carnage. Mayo, Heras, both need to go "get it done". Current forecast is 90deg F. Everyone knows they rode a little "hard" today.
I'm no expert on pro-rider ability, but a stage win can be a powerful motivator. The big three are likely to let Mayo go ahead and then try to match his pace. This kind of scenario would be tough on the rest of the peloton.
I voted under 20 in contention, but I'll admit, 30 is probably closer to it... we'll see...

More than 60 (I swear I chose that, but it submitted mine as 40-60)
