Road Cycling - YAY My New Seat!!!

Thx for all the peeps that helped me on the broken seat issue, i ended up geting a selle italia, but u gota here how it ended up happening. I live on Base in San Diego and we have a little bike shop for others on bace, i was in there onces and i noticed that they had a few selle seats there for an ok price and since no tax on bace it might be worth geting. so after heading over to the bank I went over there to check them out, and only saw one, but it was not the one i had seen befor, so me and the owner looked around and found one that was half price (full price was 90$) He did not know if that was still the same price to he looked about ended up say screw it and said to me "Hey give me 20 bucks and it is yours" "Really!?!" "Yep take it man" So out wipped the cash and now i have a new seat witch WILL be sat on tonight. ^_^

A new seat don't mean squat if it ain't comfortable, hopefully you lucked out. I tried about 12 or 13 seats over a 14 year period before I finally found a comfortable enough seat to go over 75 miles without discomfort. I ended up splurging for a $150 Brooks Swift, and this is the most comfortable saddle I've been on in years.

As froze said. you're lucky if you get a saddle that really fit you.

But a higher $$$ does not mean its more comfy.. But definitely it looks better and is lighter, and you can brag about it. :D :D :D

I ended up with a $20 dollar saddle myself.. Tried on 5 different saddles for a period of 2 yrs, and ended on this one. No more numbness... fortunately.. at last.. :)

BTW, the $$$ saddles did do well with my butt. ;)

i was so ancusuos to ride on my new seat i could not sleep so at 0430 i got up and took a spin around town lol ^_^
