Forest Preserve District of Will County Hosts Wauponsee Glacial Trail Eco-Rec Tour
The Forest Preserve District of Will County is hosting a Wauponsee Glacial Trail Eco-Rec Tour, to be held Saturday, October 3-Sunday, October 4. Get ready for a memorable biking and camping experience this fall and enjoy some beautiful Will County scenery on the recently completed Wauponsee Glacial Trail.
Riders have plenty of warning to get their muscles in gear for a 60-mile cycling tour on the wide open spaces of the Wauponsee Glacial Trail. The weekend will consist of a 30-mile bike ride from Joliet to Kankakee River State Park where you can wile away the Saturday evening hours eating a delicious campground-style meal and settling down to a peaceful night's sleep under the stars. The next morning, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast and saddle up to ride back! Registration is limited and required by September 15. Cost per person is $78. Riders must be 18 years of age or older.
