They have apparently decided the fire won't be fully contained until Sep 15. I guess it depends on hoe quickly they can repair the roads by then. I heard rumor that Red Box was destroyed.

I wondered about Red box....clear creek too maybe?? Bad bad bad...with budget cuts...who knows how long it will be to rebuild...

Just to clarify, this is a rumor. My wife thought she heard them say that over the radio, but she isn't familiar with the area and mixes up locations up there easily... as did I when I first started riding up there. Still do actually, I have a mapmyride route that mistakes Charlton Flats for Chilao Flats.
