Tandem Cycling - Serial number on my Cannondale RT2000?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I got this off the BB...233624. Anyone know if that's the serial number and how would I find the age of the bike?
Thanks

From an archived post:
"Check the serial number. Cannondale serial #: Serial number code: first two digits are the size, next 6 are date of manufacture, remainder are unit number. For instance: SN#54021787121 indicates a 54 cm frame, built on February 17, 1987, #121"
This doesn't seem to fit the number you pulled off the BB however.
Does this help?

Headtube badge or emblem, plus any model numbers will give a good headstart.
I'm guessing it's between a 93 and 2001, but some additional information regarding the numbers / letters is missing.

Thank to All! I was able to determine that my Cannondale was made 1997!
