Hey dudes, (and also girls)

I am new here, I thought it smart to post an intro thread, considering that is the purpose of this forum section :/ Well, I am basically looking for advice on some bikes so I figured why not ask the internet. So here I am, in all my glorious noobiness. I guess I should say I am 15, I bike around alot with my friends and we do some intense off roading on our bikes. My bike is a crappy $100 schwinn from target, bought 5 years ago and I need a bike, not that stupid thing. I play guitar (Gibson Les Paul FTW) and I also am really, really into guns. Just a quick summary of me.

Thanks,
Dan.

Hey Dan, welcome. I just joined the forums an hour ago haha, so no expert advice, except that yeah - department store bikes aren't worth anything, which I have experience to support. I recently bought a used road bike and love it. I assume MTB's from restoration shops are good buys as well.

Welcome to Bike Forums, Dan. Are you looking for off road bikes? You might want to ask around in the Mountain Biking or BMX forums.

thanks two peoople! Yeah I want a bike for doing some mild off roading but also a comfortable riding bike for traveling on roads+prairie paths.
