Hey...

Today I noticed my derailler was bent outwards. I didn't bother fixing it because I had to eat dinner. Is it simply th fact that my derailler is bent or is it out of adjustment? Please help!

Could be the deraileur hanger too. If that is misaligned the deraileur will look funny.

I think you have a bent Derailleur hanger or the derailleur itself is bent. http://www.cripplefight.com/smileys/spanka.gif. With all the mechanical problems you have I would recommend http://www.parktool.com/repair_help/FAQindex.shtml or getting a good basic bike repair book that can be found at most local bike shops.
