Wanted to see if anyone else is doing the Brandywine Tour being put on by the Delaware Valley Bike Club this labor day weekend. I hear it's a really great ride, lots of hills and nice scenery so I'm excited to go...especially because this is my first big ride. I'm only doing the 50 (I've only had the bike for a month so I'm not quite ready for a century yet) but I figured I would see if anyone else on BF will be there!

Looks like a nice ride. You might have talked me into it but I didn't know about it until now. I have other plans. I signed up for a Monmouth County tour at the end of the month for the same reasons ...my first tour!! I'm also going to try the 50 mile leg. Good luck!

though i mountain bike, i am about to get into a bit more road...so i plan to hit it NEXT year...along with the Bike to the Bay....very tempted to do the sept 12 amish ride in the Dover area next week....
