Saw a pair of them going into cineplex/elgin mills plaza in Richmond Hill. Took me a minute to realize that they were actually police. I initially looked and thought, wow someone is actually wearing a helmet and have lights (sun just set), rear blinky and a dual headed front lights. I didn't get a chance to get close enough to see exactly what kind of bike it was but I think I read Trek on the side. Anyone know exactly what kind of gear they're using?

no clue...ive never been close enough to a bike cop to ever check
Trek makes a pretty nice Police model Link (http://www.trekbikes.com/bikes/2004/police/police.jsp)
As does Fuji Link (http://www.fujibikes.com/police/bike.asp?category_short_name=police&myArray=189,190&myArrayID=0&yr=2004) and I know that Clearwater, FL uses Cannondales though I cna't find a link for that model.

SJ's bike cops ride black Cannondale MTBs with rear rack/racktop bag, toe clips, and the cop lights.

It's got a cop for a motor, a 44 inch diameter plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before low carb diets so it'll run good on regular donuts. What do you say, is it the new Bluesbicycle or what?
