hey, just starting in the road bike hobby and in the flower mound, tx area. Looking to meet other riders and jump into this! Currently looking for my first road bike!

I'm up in Frisco. I think you'll find a fairly large contingent of N.Texas riders here.
and yes check out the Texas regional forum.
If your looking for a bike Blue Bonnet cycles on 35. in lewisville (by Country Ford) is great.
Richardson Bike Mart ( Frisco location) is also execllent.

Welcome to the Forums. I office in Lake Dallas, not far from BlueBonnet. It is a nice old style bike shop. Any of the Richardson Bike Mart locations are worth visiting, just for the experience. Make sure to check out the Texas subforum. You can meet a lot of the Dallas area members at the upcoming classic and vintage ride at White Rock Lake and see some very cool old bikes as well.
