The Shins appreciation thread

I would just like to say, "Kissing the Lipless" from The Shins is a totally spanky musical experience that simply must be savoured otherwise one would be audibly deprived. Does anyone know if their first CD is as good as this one?

I agree. I like both, but the first may be stronger. Lyrically perfect, maybe. And the music is older sounding, somewhat classic.

Awesome! Next time I'm in Brisbane I'll track it down. I haven't seen it anywhere here on the Gold Coast (and we claim to be a "city" of 450-odd thousand!).
