I'm considering a Nitto Mark's Rack http://www.rivbike.com/products/list/bags_and_racks?a=1&page=all#product=20-108 , and would like to use my lowrider unthreaded bosses for it instead of the P clamps. I've never used the holes and wondered what kind of bolts to use. The unthreaded holes measure about 5.7mm. I've scoured online but have never seen a photo for any lowrider hardware for unthreaded bosses.
I can't see much wisdom in the unthreaded bosses . . but that's what I have on this frame. How does one get a secure fit through the hole so the bolt doesn't move around or vibrate? Any help or insight would be appreciated.
