Pacific Northwest - Traffic in Mt. Rainier National Park this (Labor Day) weekend?

Figuring out where to ride this weekend - I'm assuming that it's not wise to ride in Mt. Rainier National Park this weekend due to tourist traffic, and that waiting a couple of weeks would be wise (am thinking of riding Ashford - Paradise - maybe Stevens Canyon as well).
If I don't do that I'm likely to ride up Hurricane Ridge.

I'm going east to ride the Manastash metric century route see'n as the weather looks a bit iffy. You're welcome to join me if you'd like.

Hey Matt, that sounds interesting. Which day?
I checked out the weather after my post above - not going to be a great weekend this side of the Cascades.

I'm thinking Sunday right now (for the least amount of traffic).

The only good thing about tons of traffic is that the cars might have to slow down...for other cars.

My wife and I rode that route a few weeks back. It's a nice ride, but pretty flat.
I was thinking of heading east of the mountains this weekend and trying to find something in 60-70 mile range with some climbing (getting ready for cycle Oregon). Anyone have a recommendation?
