Hi,

Is it possible to guess at the model name of this 10 speed Univega? It's missing the model name decal. Would the fork mounts be any indication? (ie. a touring bike?) What about the year? (see pic of serial!). Would this model have been made in Italy or Japan? Would the forks be original to it? I'm interested to know if the frame is CroMo, and how "butted" it is. Finally, what's a realistic value? (It has Shimano 600 friction derailleurs, Shimano 105 hubs, Dia-Compe brakes, Sakae Custom road champion bars, 52-42 chainring, Suntour freewheel) Thanks!

I'm not an expert so won't venture an exact year or model number, but here in Philadelphia, 80's era Japanese lugged-steel roadbikes in that condition can easily sell for between $200 -$250 (often more).
