I'm looking at buying one off a guy on BMX-F. I was just wondering how good of frames they are and if I should take it. It's also a 21" TT and I'm about 5'7" or 5'8". Would that be too long?

Edit: $135 for frame, wedge mod, and seatpost.

that's a good deal, but I would look at it before buying it. (to make sure it's not cracked or something)

I can't look at in person, but I could have the guy send me more pictures of the welds and whatnot.

ask for those pics. never buy without at least being able to see it

I've seen pictures of it, it's a really nice looking frame, I would just ask for more details.

But I've decided, I'm going to just ride the hell out of my bike until it dies. F it.

I'm about 6', and i still feel like my 21" tt is a bit long, in the future, if i get another frame, i may go for a 20.75.
I think you should look for a smaller frame personally.

And one that hasn't been cut for wedge mod would definitely be a plus. Unless you are slamming your seat, it's not going to work very well

I am about 5'7'' with a 20.5" frame and 53 stem and it is pretty much pretty maybe a tad too long.

Yeah, I'm not going to worry about getting a new frame now. When I do eventually get one, I'm just going to get a new one, one that I know will fit. After a lot of thinking, I really don't need one, so I'm just going ride my bike the way it is, only replacing stuff that is needed. I think the first thing I'm going to get is my wheel, then forks and headset, and then cranks with a sealed BB.

I thought you have ody forks?

Nahh. I gave them back to my dad for his bike. I know bikes aren't all about looks, but I didn't want to ruin the chrome by getting them powdercoated white. Also, my stock forks were about the same weight anyways. I'm not worried about them right now. A wheel is the first thing on my list.
