So I am going to Seattle next week on business but have some time to ride a little bit. I'm planning on taking my bike along but don't know the area..
Anyone know of places to ride?

Because of the meetings i'm in, I'm staying down by the Sea/Tac airport but know where most of the big roads are like 405, I90 and where some of the cities are..
So if there's a quick way to drive and get to someplace and then go from there on bike that would be awesome. (example, drive to lynnwood/Redmond etc, get off on exit ???, drive a couple of miles and a trailhead or something is on the right, etc.)

Thanks!

Burke Gilman trail is a good place to start - the scenery is great and the trail isn't too busy at off-peak times. I rode 35 miles of it for the first time on Friday and although I probably wouldn't ride it regulary if I lived there, it was real nice to do once.

There are many entrance points - ask around where you are staying for directions.

I'd recommend riding around Mercer Island and Lake Washington Blvd before the Burke Gilman. Faster riding, better scenery, and you don't have to put up with roller bladers, strollers three abreast, unleashed dogs, etc... The drivers are curteous, there are fewer stops and unless you're really fast, you don't have to worry about a traffic ticket, unlike riding the BG through Lake Forest Park.

If you haven't left yet try this website. It has directions for the Lake Washington Loop and Mercer Island mentioned above.
