Non-bike related pretty much, but I put this query to the vast knowledge of the bikeforums... anyone know of anyway to lighten leather? IE, turn a dark brown leather a little bit lighter? Any solutions? chems? techniques anyone knows of? Thanks!

No, sorry, dude.

I think leather's color is pretty much best left alone. If you want a special shade or color, get it new.

I never would have guessed!

Well, I guess I just don't have time for that kind of stuff. :D

Good luck!

Oh ok, now I get it... I thought that was "indygear" as in "indy" as in "independent" or some sort of hip thing... in fact, its indiana jones... which I'm excited about the thought of another movie! So far, I do indeed think its one of the finest trilogies out there. heh.
