Triathlon - Which tires for racing?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have been riding Conti 4 seasons with no complaints for a pretty good stint. I have a race coming up next weekend and I have to change due to wear. Here's what the LBS has:
1. Vittoria open corsa evo
2. Vittoria open pave
3. Continental "triathlon"
4. My old standby--the 4 season
I do not care too much about long-term durability. I am more just focused on peak performance for this one race. That being said, I think I might be emotionally scarred if I flatted out on my last 40 miles of the season. Will any of these tires offer me a performance edge over the 4 season, or should I just stick to what I know?
Thanks
The Vittoria will be faster.
The 4 season itself is not on this list but if it's like say the Conti Ultra Sport you're looking at 10 watts:

Vittoria open corsa evo.
Highest end in the market, the pros use them, they are fast.

So it seems the open corsa is the way to go. I'm just about ready to take out that second mortgage to make it happen. Any reason I should be paranoid about this tire blowing out?

Latex tubes apparently reduce rolling resistance too.
Hey Geewhiz, I'll second what Barchettaman said on the latex tubes.
I've used a lot of different tires in my life, from Conti to Veloflex(called Veloflat by many people) and I think as long as you make sure your tube isn't pinched, tire is seated right and tires are pumped to the right pressure you probably won't flat. I'm now up to about 50 races in my life and I haven't flatted out yet. Haha.

Tyres with latex tubes need to be pumped up before every ride.

Hello!
Thanks for all of your input. I made the decision to switch to the open corsas--and then checked the weather. It rained all night the night before and all day during my race. I read about the corsas shredding or getting cut up in the rain. I just stuck with the (heavy) four seasons. May not be the fastest, but I saw about twenty people flat out and was glad not to be one of them.
Thanks again!

Any tire on a road/tri bike should be pumped up before every ride.
My plain old normal 700x23c clincher tires with normal tubes only hold 110psi for about 24 hours.
