Read up here (http://www.velonews.com/article/97414/after-a-15-percent-drop-in-sales-mavic-s-parent-company).
I'm predicting a HED/Mavic mash-up... Maybe someone could give Zipp a run for the money finally.
Thoughts?

ah so as it turns out, making horrible decisions like trying to sell people that R-Sys crap does have repercussions? later mavic!

Yeah, I'm sure their sales drop had nothing to do with that global recession / financial crisis....

Mavic open pros are some of the best rims on the market and I have used them on several bikes. I run Mavic wheels on my road bike, can't remember the exact model but they are the black wheels with one red spoke. Overall I really like their products and I am really hope they stay in business.
