Hey guys. I just discovered this forum and I thought I would get your opinions.

I'm looking to purchase a new bike. My budget is $3,000 to $4,500. I do a fair amount of riding in the mountains and want a light wieght bike that will be good for climbing. Something pretty stiff, but yet I want to be comfortable for 100 mile rides too.

These are the bikes that I will be test riding tomorrow:

Cannondale Six13
Cannondale R3000
Giant TCR Composite
Calfee Tetra
Co Motion Ristretto
(all equiped with dura ace 10)

Any opinions on any of these bikes? or do you all have any other suggestions? Thanks for the help!

Are you a pretty standard fit? If not, you may want to consider custom for that price.

Oh and I hope you're not offended that I'm about to call you a ba$tard out of sheer jealousy ... BA$TARD!

I'll take the Six13 over the rest.
The Six13 rides with less edge than the CAAD7, imo the Giant isn't even in the same class (handling and feel are not up to par compared to Cdale, imo, but they look cool).
Calfee tetra- very limited time on it but it seemed more like a touring bike than a racing bike, I don't know why...that was my impression.
CoMotion- no opinion, never rode one.

Have you considered the Huffy comfort bike? I noticed you didn't include it in your choices. It's a great mount. And, it's several thousands less.

:D

Sorry.

No I'm not.

Bastard.
