Can't figure out how to plug coordinates into my GPsMap 60Cx. For example, there's a youth hostel in Portugal I'd like to check out. They give their GPS coordinates as 41º5'31,65"N/7º8'25,48"W. How do I plug that into my GPS?

I hit the "Mark" button, highlight the "Location" field and press "Enter", which opens an on-screen keypad. I'm able to move around on this keypad and highlight the numbers, but how do I choose a number? I hit the "Enter" button, and nothing happens.

I can't figure what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't have a 60Cx, but I do have some older Garmins and I think the entry method is similar. If nothing happens when you hit 'Enter' it probably means that the selected item isn't valid in that location. When you first select the Location field and hit 'Enter' the cursor will be on the 'N' or 'S' of the latitude. You can change this to the opposite value if desired by selecting the up or down arrow and hitting 'Enter'. Otherwise select the right arrow key and hit 'Enter' to move to the numeric value for degrees and the select the appropriate value and again hit 'Enter'. Then keep selecting the right arrow to move to the other numeric values.

BTW, the default used for the location format is Degrees/Minutes/Decimal Minutes; i.e. N 41º 5.528'.
The location you have for the hostel is in the Degrees/Minutes/Seconds/Decimal Seconds format. You can either change your Garmin's format to the latter using the Setup menu or you can convert the location:
N 41º 5.528'
W 7º 8.425'
