We're still on vacation but this time we're here in Mount Shasta. I looked up some of the routes for this area on Map My Ride and decided to do the 13+ mile, 4000ft. climb which is the last part of the Mt. Shasta Century. I will tell you that it's a constant climb of 6-8% grades and never stops. The scenery is absolutely beautiful but the one thing is the BEST descent that I've ever ridden. The road is in excellent shape and you can just let loose and enjoy. I think I'll be up here again next year for the cenury ride. BTW the day before my wife and I rode N. Old Stage Road out to Edgewood and that was also an awesome ride.
