Not sure how much fuel that thing would burn, although it would probably get a bit pricey if used regularly, I think.

Actually a friend uses a carbide lamp. It puts out a lot more light than an oil lamp, and the fuel isn't too bad.

I have been trying to figure out something like that after a friend joked that I need an old railroad lantern on the front.
