Anyone here going?

It's still tentative for me at this point, but if I can swing it, I'd love to meet up with some folks. :)

I never get the day off for it. It's so hard to. A couple of times I had the passes but was scheduled to work. I think Brian is going. He usually does.

I can understand, though being self-employed...the days off aren't the issue...the money for the trip is.

So far I have two buddies wanting to go with me. That'll help split costs. We're also looking at going for one day for the same reason.

I went once a couple of years ago and had a blast. Demo day is amazing - when you get to take out any bike you want :)

I'm going to be in Vegas that week and want to go, but I need to find some tickets. If anyone has tickets or knows how I can get them, it would be much appreciated.

I have this problem that it always overlaps with another event that I do which this year starts the 25th. Sadly I won't be going.

I take hundreds of photos every year and only once was I told to stop. Security barely looks for passes when you go in after the 1st day at the Sands.

Yeah, that actually pissed me off in 2005 as a reporter for a legit bicycle website.

I'm glad to see they are doing a Brent Thomson memorial ride at the dirt demos. I hope I don't faceplant on this one. I ended up in the ER after the last ride we did to memorialize him.

Yeah, but apparently Interbike doesn't.

I don't understand why they even bother with a press area if they're not going to enforce it. In this age of every electronic device being built with a camera in it, it would be next to impossible, but I can imagine some professional reporters depending upon exclusives and being promised security will be enforcing it being pretty pissed off.

No Interbike for me... I will have to console myself with the hand built bike show in Portland at the end of October.

I just emailed my nephew for the passes. I hope he still has them. I figured I couldn't get the day off because I took two weeks vacation earlier this week and it kind of threw people of since I got my new position.....So if he verifies that he will send them then I'll have to beg big time for it off.
