A few years back, I did have the chance to be shown around part of the Ann Arbor campus by a long-time local. We stopped in the early evening, on a clear, cool night because I asked if we could take a look in the stadium. It didn't look like much from the outside. We walked up, expecting the door to be locked, but it wasn't. The lights were on, and there was not another person visible in that huge bowl. It was damned impressive, even if it was known that year to Penn State fans as "the scene of the crime".

America's Team? That was always wishful thinking. I've been in many parts of the country. The Cowboys are the most widely hated team in the country - and it's not even close.

To paraphrase...'Tis better to have playoff'd and lost than never to have playoff'd. It may not be never for the 'Skins, but sure seems that way. :p

As for being most loved/ most hated... They inspire strong feelings one way or the other. Rarely do you find anyone ambivalent about the 'Boys. And I didn't forget the G-men. Their winning just doesn't sicken me in the way the 'Skins do.

Actually, most of why I have hated the Cowboys has been the coaches - and that pretentious motto. Johnson and Parcels are two of those who I have a great dislike of. Coughlin is far up that list also, but he slipped up and revealed himself to be human last year, so he's not at the top any more.

Hatin' the cowboys just comes with the territory of being a 'skins fan. Can't help it.
