Sorry, didn't see your post in time to reply in a timely manner... Chico Corsa will have "Decide and Ride" from One Mile parking lot tomorrow ~ 8 a.m.
I will be out earlier, and might join them as well.

See also the Chico Cyclist blog; there was a group "Fast 50" Wednesday evening, 10 mile TT Thursday, a crit on Friday, and a mtn bike practice race today. During the season ( ~March until next week, the Chico Downtown Crit is a week from tomorrow), there are local events 5-6 days/week. The Tuesday crit, Wednesday Fast 50, and Thursday TT are institutions; mix in more TTs, some circuit races, road races, uphill and downhill time trials for a full local scene.
Chico Velo has rides each weekend, and CycleSport puts rides together as well.
