Cyclocross - Cyclocross Marketplace
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
How many people would like a Cyclocross Marketplace subforum -- like some of the other forums have (Road, Mtn, Folding, etc.)? You can sell items in the Marketplace.
If there is enough interest I'll talk to the BF Admin about adding it.

It seems like marketplace forums are getting added in a lot of places and then not getting used (except for the "For Trade" threads).

Is there any way in the forum software that if you post in a specific marketplace forum, it automatically also gets linked to the for sale forum? The same thread but shows up in two different forums?

No.
If the admin adds a marketplace subforum here, no one sees it unless they come here. It cannot be automatically posted in the For Sale forum.
FYI: In order to post in the For Sale forum (near the bottom of the BF main page) a member must be a contributing member (either a red star or a yellow jersey next to their user name).
If you are a contributing member you can post your for sale items in both places.
Anyone can post in the Cyclocross Marketplace subforum.
