Fifty Plus (50+) - Cut an hour off our favorite training ride

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
We have a very hilly 26 mile ride that we use for a training ride. Last time we did it was a month ago before our cycling vacation. The bikes were about 15 pounds heavier
then ( I add weight gradually to get ready for touring), the weather was hotter and
I wasn't trying to make time.
But an hour is an hour. For us, averaging 10 mph in hill country is darn good.

Bravo.
You blistered the pavement like Lance Armstrong.
I am very proud of you.
Such an achievement deserves kudos.
Thank goodness for that custom fitting you had in the spring.
It probably was the reason why you improved so much.
And the awesome workouts you endure.
Keep up the good work.
You are an inspiration to mentally handicaped people everywhere..

Update: I was so sore in what seemed like a dozen places this morning. Alleve was definitely part of breakfast.
Still glad I did it.:injured: :p
