Jason (aka SpamnRice) picked me up this morning around 6:30 and we met up with some other folks for the drive down to Diablo. Once in Danvile, we stopped by the local Starbucks for a cup of coffee and pit stop. From there we moved the cars back up Danville Rd a bit, unpacked, and set out. It was a lovely cool morning with a nice breeze.
As many of you know, it's not a hard climb until the last few hundred meters. Just got to find a groove and pound it out. But those last 500 meters are a killer. Always hard.
Anyway, I made it up with a new personal best of 1:12:02, which was 7 minutes faster than my previous time.
Here are a few pictures.
