hello everyone, im from Vancouver BC and i'm trying to build a custom motorcycle. i know it has nothing to do with bicycles but i need everyones expertience on this one. im building a custom front end for my motorcycle which utilizes a bike shock. my question is, which shocks do you guys suggest would work well for this design

i was told to get Fox DHX 5.0, would that work?
i need a shocks that is short, good rebound, tunable, bottom out protection and reliable.

I know the Motorbike is not cycle related- but you will need a good strong unit on that. I ride a Tandem and just trying to find forks strong enough for that was difficult. Then I had the problem of finding springs of a heavy enough weight to take the weight on the front of a Tandem.

So You will have to find a manufacturer that make a strong product in the first place- and one that can also supply heavy weight- or "Very" heavyweight springs that will be hard enough.

It might be worth talking to a Tandem Fork specialist to see if they could help out on suggestions or supply of a modified unit.
