General Cycling Discussion - facebook friends that are cycling related

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

just search facebook for bike related words or types of bikes and it'll bring up various groups, possibly applications.

I usually post links and pictures to cycling stuff whenever I come across something interesting.

Groups aren't as effective or integrated. BikeForums should do a Fan Page instead. It integrates into fan's Newsfeeds. Groups are only useful if people remember to go to the group page (out of sight, out of mind).

This is true. Is there a way that members can create a Fan Page or is that an ad/revenue thing for FB?

It doesn't have to be a revenue thing (it can be a "stepping stone" towards targeted ads and such), but it's best if started by someone in an official capacity with the organization.
