Very nice series! Those look like fun! I just got back into riding a 3-spd. I rebuilt. Now I really want to branch out in 8-spd. IGH bikes.

Thanks for the pics!

I like the colour of the Specialized live more than the Trek Belleville I like the price of the Belleville better.

Nice pictures. Thanks for putting that post together, Norman. The first one really appeals to me. I think belt drive is cool, not sure why. The rubber on the top tube is a great idea for a bike that is frequently locked to street signs, parking meters, bike racks, etc. I guess it comes with the coffee mug, too!

The Raleigh is a very nice looking bike, too, but I wish they had spec wooden fenders rather than "wood grain finish".

Bendy top tube on the Raleigh looks horrible.

beautiful set of bikes - very custom - do not look like anything else (that much) on the market ;D

Norman, even more interesting will be pictures of those bikes or similar bikes on display in any numbers on LBS' sales floors, illustrating that they are actually being promoted by LBS sales staff and available for immediate purchase.

I've seen the Trek Soho and the Gary Fisher Simple City at my LBS. Cool looking bikes.

Ok,sombody 'splain this to me: the Haul has a rear rack and steel fork. The Live has a front rack, but an alloy fork? Wat?

The steel fork would be to flexy under load? Alloy is stiffer and weighs less?

You left out the Swobo Dixon, Civia Hyland, Breezers and Civia Loring among many others. LOTS of Nexus8/Alfine hub bikes on the market now in addition to the Dixon and Loring with the SRAM iM9 and the version of the Civia Hyland with the Rohloff hub.
