Around here (San Francisco bay area), $125 will get you a first class single color powder coat. That includes bead blasting and powder coating frame and fork. Owner has to remove all parts, including headset and BB cups as well as fork bearing race.

Hi,
I am in Palo Alto CA and we powder coat frames at very, very reasonable prices. We have powdered hundreds of frames, and the quality of our finishes is above and beyond your average powder shop.

Good luck!

I had tig welded up a TV Stand a couple of years ago out of 1" sq. tube 10ga. I took it to a powder cost company about a hour from my home. They did a two color white with gold and if my memory serves they some how contaminated "probably not the right terminology" the gold so it has gold streaks running through the white. The result was awesome, and the finish is much better than I could have done myself. They charged $50.00 only because they were doing a run of Theater seats in that same color, this place has a huge oven in a old factory and does mostly theater restorations.

Winnipeg $60 if it's brought in bare. I lucked out because of company affiliations and landed a free powder coat job!

$140 at Class Act in Portland Oregon. The best in town.

Mr. Sanner can you provide information on how YOUR powder-coating is better?

I was surprised to find that it would be approximately $175 for such a service in the Monterey, CA area. That seems a bit pricey.
