Does anyone else find the phrase "did I mention" extremely annoying?

I'm not crazy about IMO and IMHO, either. Usually superfluous.

Did I mention I don't like flys.
i prefer not to hear, "the truth is"
does that imply you had been lying up until now?
one that is getting far over used in my area is "I know, right?"

"Nothing could be further from the truth."
I hate that phrase, mostly because you can easily create something that is further from the truth!

"I'm sorry to say," sends a shiver up my spine.

I dislike this one... "put your hands on your head and get on your knees".
Actually, I can't stand it when someone says starts to say something with, "actually".
"I really hate to do this" is another one I hate, especially if it's my manager saying it.:twitchy:
