NV - River Mountains Loop Trail - pix??
@@@
Anyone from Henderson, NV or close aboard with pix or gps plot of the River Mountains Loop Trail?
I expect to be there in October for a ride and want to do my "due diligence". I can only track a bit of this trail on Google Earth - the Boulder Pass section.

Will probably camp down at Lake Mead and work out of the NPS visitor center to ride out to the dam on the old rail trail, then the RMLT.

If you don`t get what you`re looking for here, try the Nevada subforum on mtbr.com- lots of Vegas/Henderson folks there every day.

This is a nice complex of trails, mostly moderate in the SE valley of Vegas dropping down to Boulder City. If you like single track dirt, Boot Leg Canyon above Boulder City is really good. The Anthem Loops in Henderson also is a nice system of dirt and paved trails.
Let me know if you need more info.
The City of Henderson has a good list of bike maps under the parks section of the City website.

Bootleg Cyn Mtn Bike Park was rather impressive. What got me were the four showers. Know how rare that is at a trailhead? I know of only one other, thus far. Iron Horse Trail, Hyak TH, the two handicap loos have showers in them. Used one. It was nice.

Drat! Missing free coffee. I hate that.
Appreciate the offer, but I have landed in Winter Quarters in Newport Beach, CA. Back to work next week.
Got to find most of the RMLT trailheads and ride some segments. Very nice project. They got a listing on traillink.com, which puts them on the map nationally. Nevada now has two listings therer <g>.
Now they need a steady stream of ride reviews and good looking pix loaded to traillink.
Something for the local riders to do. I get thru there each fall to or from Moab.
Almost know where the trail will run in Boulder City. Me, I will hit Industrial from mt. bike trail head over W of the vet home down to the trail on US 93.

Glad you enjoyed yourself. I ended up spending 4 hours at Urgent Care. Come back in a month and we will ride and get some Java.
