I'm new to the board so I thought I would share my worst wreck story. So here it is....

I was doing support for the Houston to Austin MS150 road ride. It was a great time, driving the route in the shop van while eating Krispy Kreme donuts. Me and the two other guys took our mountain bikes to do some riding in Austin after the MS150 was over. So we are riding this trail right off the loop there in Austin. It was basically about 4 miles uphill then 2 miles screaming down hill. I had taken a Trek VRX 500 from the shop, I had never fully utilized a real full suspension bike up to this point. I hit 48MPH at one point. On to the crash....I had just went off of a four foot stair step drop-off with no problem, they trail flattened out and I had my right pedal hanging down instead of my pedals level. I hit a big rock with my pedal going about 40MPH and it sent me flying. I flew through the air for about 15 feet and landed with my head  . I cracked my helmet right down the middle and broke my left wrist in three places. I didn't know it was broken at the time, my right wrist was actually hurting more and I rode the rest of the trail holding on with my broken wrist. So from that point up to two weeks before I left for the Air Force I had a broken wrist. The worst part is I don't have any scares to show for it. So that's my story.

What is your worst wreck??
