Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - It took me 4 years to get my numbers like this

Last Thursday we have a health awareness event at work, that offers a free heath screening. It was at one of these events 4 years ago that I learned that my total cholesterol numbers were in the high risk category. They were were in the mid 250's and were confirmed to be the same a year later by my doctor. Last year it caught up with me, as I had cholesterol stones in my gallbladder which triggered an attack. I had my gallbladder removed a month after the attack and decided it was time to change my lifestyle. I started walking on the treadmill 5 days after my surgery, plus started a low fat diet. My weight was 224 pounds with my cloths on, so an honest 220. So, on Thursday, when my cholesterol was checked, it was 189. A full 60 points less then last time it was checked. Also, my blood glucose was much lower then before. On Friday, I had my body fat checked at the gym. It was down to 17 percent with my weight being 189 pounds. I have not been under 190 pounds in years. I share this partly because I am really happy that all the work has paid off, but also to encourage others that they can do this too. I have a few more pounds that I WANT to lose, but it good to know that even if I never lose another pound, I am healthy. :) At some point I post a picture of when I was at 26 percent body fat verses now, but that should hopefully be in the next month or so.
