okay, this one's obscure: years and years and years ago, I was watching one of those Discovery Channel type shows, and there was this one company that made a tiny little powerboat that was designed for only one person to use it to ski -- alone. see, the boat was nothing but an engine and hull, with no passenger compartment whatsoever, and the ski-er controlled it via the tow rope, which had a kind of cable with simple steering controls in the, uh, the handle thing. so it was kinda like ski-ing behind a remote control jet ski, if you know what I mean. and if you wiped out, the handle cut out the engine and the thing would idle and go in little circles, and you could get back up pretty easily.
I've looked around online a bit, but no luck. has anyone else ever seen this? does it even exist anymore? possibly it was just one of those one-offs that never really saw the light of day?
thanks!
