Folding Bikes - no kojaks on a brompton ?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I ordered a SL2-X (v similar to PDR's, but with fenders/mudguards), and to have kojaks, just got a message no kojaks until 2010. Anyone else a similar experience ? I guess stelvios then.
How about ordering the Brompton with the yellow tires and buying the Kojak in a LBS? nycewheels only offers brompton, stelvio and marathon tires.
My Brompton came with Stelvios, I bought the Kojaks from http://www.wrhpv.com/

So please tell us "what is the difference between these two tyres on a Brompton"?

What is then ?
I am considering Kojacs after being disappiointed with the punctures I got with stevios.I loved the stevio preformance and weight saving however. I am considering stevios with slime. I have some of both as spares.

Check his sig. Thorusa.com sells mostly Dahon, everything I've read they're probably the best internet retailer for Dahon in the US (better internet support than most local Dahon retailers give).
The Stelivos have a tread pattern. The Kojaks are a pure slick and are a little fatter than Stelivos.
Personally I think the Kojaks are grippier and more sure footed than the Stelivos..... but I have done less than 100 miles on Stelivos (they are fitted to my Bridgestone Moulton) so it is not really a long term test. I ran with Kojaks in 20” size for about 9 months on the dahons and I have had Kojaks fitted to my Brompton for about 6 months. Used daily in all conditions and I have ridden through glass, thorns etc. With Kojaks and have never yet had a puncture.
I really like Kojaks :thumb:
