I've been looking into sand blasting a 70s Peugeot frame.
I was going to sandblast and repaint myself.
I was looking into what kind of beads to use for this process, I found Plastic or walnut shells to work well and not damage the frame.
If so for plastic there are different kinds and wasn't sure what kinds where the best.

For my Univega, I used something called Black Beauty- a relatively aggressive sand medium. It was cheap, and easily obtainable at the local brick and stone place. The others would work, but aren't always easy to source locally.
