I want to get snafu 13 forged 180 mm cranks. My chainwheel is 44t. Does that matter? Will my cranks fit? Will I have to make any holes in my chainwheel to make it fit? My chainwheel has 1 big hole in the middle and 1 small hole off to the side that fits my 1 peice cranks. What is a free wheel and will I have to get a new one? Thanks.

The freewheel is the sprocket/ratchet mechanism on your rear wheel. The one that you have now will work fine. I don't know if the chainring that you have now will work with a Snafu crank, but I think that I'd get a new aluminum one to go with my spiffy new crank anyway.
