My brother's neighbor has one just laying around the barn and I ask if he would sell it to me. He kinda jest that it once worth a thousand, as it was his only form of transportation at one point, but I can have it now for $50.
The bike has some slight rusts on the fork chrome and in the chain stay, but nothing really an oxalic acid bath can't take care. So, is $50 good enough or do I still haggle?
Oh, I think I'm going to flip this one (my first :) ). Is this a good candidate?

Lower end bike, turkey levers, cottered cranks, i wouldn't. You would prob have to throw in 50 too. so the profit will be marginal if any.

I dont know where you live, but if its in a popular area, OA the frame and sell it as a "fixed gear frame" made in france.

but hey thats just me. :)

EDIT: I almost forgot, check the barn for paramounts!

Thanks Bob. I think I'll pass too. Maybe in a few months he'll come down to $10. Then I'll buy it. :D
