i presently got a fox vanilla r 6.75" x 1.75" on my fluid. my question was if i was going to upgrade this to another shock - like say a romic or a swinger or something, since the size of the shock on my bike is uncommon, would getting a shock that has .25" in both measurements (either .25 more or .25 less on both the i2i & stroke, i.e.: 6.5" x 1.5" or 7" x 2") be bad to do? if it's bad, why? and if not, what will it do to the bike?

I would email norco. They have specific rules about whihc shocks to use to keep the warranty. You can use bigger or smaller but it does change things.

With a company like norco, email them direct. They are already anal enouigh when it comes to warranties.
