About 20 feet, across the room.

The mtb is at the other end of the dining table... I have to go out to the garage to grope the rest.

OK get this ! I'm sitting in the living-room on the couch watching TV with my wife, Laptop is on the coffee table and my bike is sitting under the LCD TV. Life is FREAKING GOOD!

One's about 20m away outside. The others 7.5km away at home.

3 of my bikes are just on the other side of my bed....approximately 5' away. the other 3 are a good 30' away in the spare/bike room.

All mine are in the basement right now. My commuter normally lives in the dining room - but we had company over on the weekend & needed the space.

My MTB was in the living room, but I just put it away since I figured the dude wouldn't appreciate tripping over it when he gets home in the middle of the night.

I'm balancing a laptop on the handlebars as I type.

All bikes are approximately 20 steps away, in the garage.

I'm here in the spare room/computer room/music room and 20 feet away in the living room is my Diamondback hybrid, Dawes SST, Schwinn SS conversion and Mercier Galaxy Steel is leaning on the dining room table.

The Kuwahara mtb (newest acquistion) is a few metres away (neener neener) in the hallway to the kitchen. The sadly unused Miyata is in my bedroom about the same distance away and my main squeeze, the Luddite is further away in the weird separate room that also has the laundry facilities.

TL;DR zomg, they're taking over.

hehe - Couchie can attest - my bikes right at this moment - and I have three (2 mtb and one roadie_ of them right behind me- one on my trainer about 3' away from me at the moment. I rent out a 2 bedroom and the 2nd bedroom (although I may possibly have a person who wants to rent it out) is very small - to me (but with legal built in closet) and is my computer/bicycle room. I also have a couple of WIP's (work in progress bikes stored at another location.

Friday, my Xtracycle, is chilling in the garage. My roadish bike, which is still being built up, is in the backyard. A few places in the backyard. :)

Not sure if it's true, but I heard Siu has to keep them out of reach or she'd polish right through the paint. :innocent:

I wonder if that's why she needs a raw titanium bike? :p

My commuter bike is locked up in a bike rack in the next building over in our complex, about a 5 minute walk.

3' away, leaned against the wall of my cubicle.

Closest is about 30 feet away. All are within 50 feet.

I sleep with mine under my pillow at night. It snores.

I was very intimate with my bike earlier today but once again it is 62 miles away.
