Hello all, I want to buy a new bike that can offer a fast and comfortable ride while commuting, but also a bike that can still handle the unpaved trails. I have been looking at bikes from REI and have come to two choices. The GT Transeo 4.0 http://www.rei.com/product/784316 or the Novara Buzz V http://www.rei.com/product/760872. I don't know much about bikes so I'm hoping that you guys can help me narrow down my choices or add new choices. Right now I'm leaning more toward the GT. what do u guys think? Thanks

Oh Yeah, I am 6'1" and weigh 140 lbs, yeah im skinny. What frame size would be best for my height?

The folks at REI will help you find the right size. The Buzz is a great all around bike. Just personally, I am not a fan of bikes with shocks unless they are really needed. They just add extra weight to the bike and are more to maintain. Since you'll be riding on unpaved trails, you might want the other bike. REI makes great bikes so either will suit you.
