Foo - You are all wrong

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I am, in many ways, wrong. I am ok with that. What's your excuse?
Of course you are all wrong. You can't all be right, now can you?
Two wrongs make a right. Therefore I am right 1/3 of the time.

I think this is aptly illustrated in the old parable of the woodcarver's son and the raccoon maiden.
One day, a struggling woodcarver's son (Lars), was scouting the forest for suitable pieces of wood for his father to carve, when he came upon some colorful berries. They were a lovely shade of blue when the sun shone directly on them, and a rich purple when it did not. Lars thought to himself, "this is even more lovely than the paint job on Gustov's Klein", and was about to eat one when he heard a strange, yet beautiful sound from a nearby glen. Entranced by the sound, he slowly walked towards it. He was completely astonished to find that the source of the mysterious sound was a small, lithe, fulsome raccoon maiden who was standing near a brooklet, dipping nuts and grubs in the cool wash before popping them into her delicate little mouth.
"What have you brought me?" she inquired. Before thinking, Lars held forth the lovely berries, to which she could only respond "ooooohhhhh". Composing herself, she beckoned Lars to approach. She took one of the berries, and dipped it in the brooklet several times, bidding Lars to do the same. She then popped it into her mouth, and Lars did the same. They looked at each other with goofy smiles, and five minutes later they were both dead from the poison.
See?

You could be the "community leader" for the site. No experience or people skills required. Log in, show how inept you are, screw things up, and leave. That's wrong.
but we never discussed the time you banned me for someone else's post. :innocent:
Really? Well, I do apologize for that. Sincerely. But it probably makes up for the many times you should have been banned and weren't.
Next time you're banned, I'll be the first to create a "Free Botto" thread.
Even at that price, I am not sure I could afford any Botto.
