I have just acquired a V40 that I would like to convert it to USS, It came with handle bars and a stem, I think the handle bars are RANS 24" wide and 8.5" deep. After installing them I very limited turning radius. I don't think this is normal but I never used a USS except on a trike but that's not really USS.
I'm hoping someone can provide me information on what is required to make a proper conversion to USS.

The USS handle bars on a V40 look like hi rise (Monkeybars) motorcycle bars or fat tire cruiserbars.
I have a USS V40. I am out of town til the 27th. if you neeed a pic.
