I think you should make a forum specificly for flatland riders

What unique needs do people who ride where there are few hills have over the rest of humanity?

Unlike the others I am not opposed to such an idea. Why not, BMX has one, Commuters have one, why not flatlanders?
here is a question? the only hills that we have here are the bridges. for example were i live to get off the island there are two drawbridges. I usually ride on the sidewalk, for fear of the ridges on the draw bridge. what do you think should i just try to ride over the ridges. i don't think i would make it over unless i pick up some speed, anyone else try this?
I've never done it (prefer sidewalk) but I've seen riders try. Some have succeeded but the ones that didn't got hurt pretty badly. Falling on some bridges can be like scraping on a cheese grater.
tried it last night, went for a ride with a few friends and it wasn't so bad. you feel the bike wobble underneath you. not much fun. next time i'll just stickto the sidewalk.

I think what he means is the bmx discipline of flatland. Not the hill deprived roadies.
Why bother the BMX section has so few posts anyhow why fragment it further?

Why? Everyone has flatlands somewhere close to where they live, even if they live in/near hills or mountains.
What would you didcuss? How far down the road you can see? How many rises in the road you encountered? How fast you can ride on a really flat road? How strong you've gotten "climbing" the interstate overpasses?

Flatland is a type of BMX riding. I dont see the need for a flatland forum at this time.
